Our ECEs complete 30 hours of professional development within every 3-year period for continuous learning and improvement. All staff members and practicum students/volunteers, under the Nova Scotia Daycare Act & Regulations, are subject to obtain the following up-to-date documents: a Child Abuse Registry Check, Criminal Record Check (incl. Hello! My name is Yura Choi, director and Infant room educator here at It Takes a Village Childcare Centre - Clayton Park. I believe that the journey of learning starts at birth and continues throughout our lives. I value lifelong learning. My goal as an early childhood educator is to foster a love of curiosity and creativity, nurturing a lifelong passion for exploration and knowledge in every child. Little bit about myself apart from working with children is that I love being in nature! My favourite trail to go is Duncan’s Cove featuring beautiful coastal views of the Atlantic Ocean.
